The League has paid for the upkeep of the hospital gardens for very many years. In the days of John Mullis, he won prizes for the colour and beauty he produced. Since he retired, aged 80, we have seen a couple of years when it has been difficult to redevelop the gardens in an attractive but less labour-intensive way.
Now, thanks to Paul Annetts of GWS Garden Wizard Services, the gardens are once again looking well cared for, with attractive shrubs and seasonal colour.
We hope that patients and visitors alike find them pleasing and welcoming.
